At ZenTrade we are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it and what your rights are under GDPR and applicable laws.

1. Data Controller

ZenTrade ("we", "our") is the data controller for your personal data. For any privacy-related inquiries, contact us at: support@zen-trader.com

2. Data We Collect

Account data: name, email address and password (stored in hashed form; we never store passwords in plain text).

Trading data: trade records, metrics, journal notes and account configurations you voluntarily enter into the platform.

Billing data: managed directly by Wompi. ZenTrade does not store credit card data or banking information.

Technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system and access logs, collected automatically for security and diagnostics.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to: provide and maintain the Service; manage your account and subscription; send transactional communications (payment confirmations, account notices, support); improve the platform and fix bugs; and comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties or use it for third-party advertising.

4. Third-Party Services

Supabase (supabase.com): database and authentication provider. Your data is stored on Supabase servers. See their privacy policy at supabase.com/privacy.

Wompi (wompi.com): payment processing and subscription management. They independently manage payment data. See their policy at wompi.com/privacidad.

Resend (resend.com): transactional email delivery service. They only receive your email address and the content of messages we send you. See their policy at resend.com/privacy.

Vercel (vercel.com): application hosting and deployment infrastructure. They may process access logs and performance metrics. See their policy at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data while your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is permanently erased within a maximum of 30 days, unless the law requires longer retention for tax or legal reasons.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area, you have the right to: Access (obtain a copy of your data); Rectification (correct inaccurate data); Erasure ("right to be forgotten"); Portability (receive your data in a structured format); Objection (object to processing based on legitimate interest); Restriction of processing in certain circumstances.

To exercise any of these rights, write to us at support@zen-trader.com. You also have the right to file a complaint with the data protection authority in your country.

7. Data Security

We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your data: transit encryption (HTTPS/TLS), secure authentication, and Row Level Security (RLS) in the database to ensure each user can only access their own data.

However, no data transmission or storage system is 100% secure. In the event of a security breach affecting your data, we will notify you within the timeframe required by applicable law.

8. Changes and Contact

We will notify any significant changes to this policy by email with at least 15 days advance notice. Continued use of the Service after notification implies acceptance of the updated policy.
